Alex R. Szeles, Inc. has been in the disaster restoration business for many years. Our company has a reputation for quality, integrity, and excellent services. When a fire occurs in your house, you want experienced technicians to successfully complete the restoration. Our fire and smoke damage specialists have completed special training in fire, smoke, and water damage restoration. We do our best in remaining technologically advanced through regular training sessions and technical updates. We specialize in complete restoration of fire damaged homes, furnishings, and personal belongings.
Our Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Services Include:
Step 1: Emergency Pre-Cleaning
The first step is a critical one, in which we immediately work to protect your valuables. We clean contents, from valuable chandeliers to your bathroom fixtures, and follow up with ultrasonic and ozone deodorization. If necessary, a protective coating may be applied to prevent harmful caustic acids from permanently destroying valuable finishes.
Step 2: Removal of Smoke and Soot
We quickly eliminate all signs of smoke and soot, caused by fire damage to your home or your business. Fast and proper cleaning will protect your home and personal belongings from further damages due to caustic, acidic soot. If your personal items are not cleaned within twenty-four hours after a fire, some permanent damages may occur.
Step 3: Elimination of Smoke Odor
Firstly, we remove the source of smoke and soot, which is the primary method used for odor removal. Some other methods, such as thermal fogging, ozoning, etc., may be used when necessary. If odor removal from structural components is impossible, sealing with pigmented lacquer may be used.
Step 4: Pack Out, Moving, and Storage
If required, we clean, box, and store your personal items for the period of the reconstruction and restoration. Clothing, furniture, and electronic equipment can often be saved and restored using advanced restoration techniques.
Step 5: Sanitization
Water damage after a fire regularly causes secondary damage, which occur due to microbial amplification. Quickly drying your furniture and personal belongings with turbo dryers, commercial dehumidifiers, and ventilation may save many of your valuable contents and reduce costs associated with water damage.
